The museum is part of the City Hall complex. Barrier free entry is through the City Hall entrance.
Parking
Parking is available for free in the City Hall lot off of Grand Blanc Road. Overflow parking is available along Grand Blanc Road and Grand Boulevard and in the lot east of the Museum.
With seven dedicated exhibit areas, permanent and rotating exhibits, and thousands of unique artifacts, there is something for everyone at the Grand Blanc Heritage Museum! See tools and cultural artifacts used by the area’s indigenous peoples, implements from Grand Blanc’s long agricultural period, a complete set of Grand Blanc High School Echo yearbooks, a Victorian parlor complete with working gramophone and Victrola, among many other attractions!


During open hours, visitors can take a self-guided tour or be guided by one of our docents.
Have a large group, reunion, organization, or class? The Heritage Museum accommodates special tours by request, perfect for both children and adults.
Working on a genealogy project, a school paper, or a PhD dissertation? Our archives contain tens of thousands of pages of unique manuscripts, photographs, and other mediums documenting over two hundred years of recorded history of the Grand Blanc area and its peoples. The Archives are open when the Museum is open or by special arrangement.
